Dear Prospective Member: 

The Houston Society for Engineering in Medicine and Biology (HSEMB) was established in 1982 to provide a forum for engineers, scientists and clinicians working in research, development and applications of biomedical technology. The Society acts as a catalyst for interaction among the various components in the greater Houston area including the universities, medical schools, hospitals, industrial organizations and entrepreneurs. The Society also promotes biomedical engineering in the greater Houston area to government and other national and international bodies.

In addition to the benefits listed above, members are also entitled to reduced conference registration fees and optional listing in the membership directory on the Society's Web page. 

There are three classifications of membership:

The dues for membership are $50 for Individual and Associate Members and $10 for Student Members. Please make your check payable to “HSEMB” and send it along with your application to my attention at the address below.
