Outstanding Young Scientist Award
The Houston Society for Engineering in Medicine and Biology will present its Outstanding Young Scientist Award at the 22nd Annual Houston Conference on Biomedical Engineering Research. The Conference will be held on February 10-11, 2005 at the University Hilton Hotel and Conference Center on the campus of the University of Houston. Nominations are invited for candidates to be considered by the Awards Committee. Eligible nominees should be in the first five years of their research careers and have demonstrated exceptional records of achievement in their fields. The award includes a plaque and $1,000 cash sponsored by Millar Instruments, Houston, TX
Please submit a letter of nomination summarizing the individual's accomplishments and worthiness to be considered for this award, one or more additional letters seconding the nomination, one copy of the nominee's resume or curriculum vitae, and reprints or preprints of three significant publications.
